JOB POSITION: STORE MANAGER | |
JOB BRIEF: We are looking for a Store Manager whose main responsibility is to receive, store and issue supplies and equipment for the day to day hotel operations. Work closely with purchasing department, ensure cleanliness of all work areas, keeping storage and receiving areas clean and tidy at all times.
He/she also verifies that all supplies and goods received are listed on requisitions/orders and the delivery challans, invoices are checked and filed in the appropriate folder. Maintains par stock, inventory and stock records every month and compiles records of expenditures/consumptions etc. |

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | |
ü Collect procured merchandise, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver them to the appropriate department
ü Responsible for piling received merchandise on pallets or carts ü In charge of storing food, beverage, and operational stock ü Perform daily check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene ü Responsible for completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies ü Report low stock levels to manager/supervisor promptly ü Perform inspection on deliveries to confirm quality, cleanliness, and freshness, and consistency throughout case lots ü Follow food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas ü Responsible for the sanitation of all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains in storage areas ü Properly place trash, empty cardboard, and pallets in storage areas ü Notify the manager of accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions ü Follow all company policies and procedures in the discharge of duties ü Responsible for upholding the confidentiality of proprietary information as well as protect the Hotel’s assets ü Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. ü Verify that all supplies and goods received are listed on requisitions/orders and invoices, guaranteeing that the goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed on quantity and filing them in the appropriate folder. ü In a situation where deviations are found, the store manager is responsible for rejecting damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and following-up on the return process. ü Update the Materials Management System/Inventory Management System, ensuring to post all invoices and requisitions. ü Make requests for supplies, receiving deliveries, and ensuring cleanliness of all work areas. ü Perform inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs and also carrying out physical stock audits on a regular basis. ü Keeping inventory and stock records, as well as compiling records of expenditures/consumptions periodically. ü Receiving and dispatching all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the appropriate point of contact/storage area following standards for issuing/ receiving stock within the store’s area of operation. ü Also, when issuing items from the store, they ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entering into the Inventory/Materials Management System. |

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | |
Ø Graduates bachelor degree and/or diploma in hotel and restaurant management or other related field
Ø Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a store keeping Ø Demonstrated commitment to customer service and high standards of Ø Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, high pressure environment Ø Formal storekeeping, hospitality and management
